The charger fully recharges 64v max Makita batteries at 4.0 Ah in 120 minutes. The batteries are simply placed on the charger and snap into place by means of a hook that must be pressed to remove the battery. Once the battery is inserted, the color of the charging indicator light changes from green to red and the charging process begins.
