De matrix/spider poot is gemaakt van staal en dit oxideert. Om dit proces te vertragen voeg je de poedercoating toe. Tot slot is het mogelijk kleur toe te voegen aan de tafel. Aan de poedercoating kun je kleuren toevoegen, maar ook aan het tafelblad, zoals wit, zwart en grijs. Het kleuren van het tafelblad gebeurt met een washing.
