A slow grown European softwood has been chosen to create the cabin, a timber that has been allowed additional time to develop which enforces a much stronger core. The softwood used will provide the cabin with a solid build that will last for many years to come. 19mm boards are used to create to durable exterior which interlock and provide the cabin with its weatherproof assurance. The tongue and groove floor enables you to furnish the cabin with furniture as well as other storage. The roof is again made from tongue and groove cladding and this means you have no worries when it comes to heavy rain and other harsh weather. On top of the timber, mineral felting is used and this provides your roof with a waterproof layer and prevents damage to the roof from rot and other damage. The roof itself has an overhang and this keeps the front of the cabin dry and provides space for bikes to be kept out of the rain etc. To access the Barnsdale 7x7 Log Cabin, the double front doors open wide and are glazed, allowing in natural light when offered.
